A pancake breakfast on Saturday, Sept. 28 will benefit the accessible Kiwanis K Cabin at Richard Bong State Recreation Area.

The breakfast will be held from 8 a.m. until ? at the Schultz Farm, 19405 Burlington Road, Paris. Cost is $5 per person. All proceeds from the breakfast will benefit the K Cabin.

Dave Schultz  was the force behind the building of the K Cabin — which is completely accessible to people with disabilities. Dave passed away suddenly almost 3 year ago.

The Schultz family also will be conducting a sale at the farm of Dave’s tools Saturday and Sunday from  8 am to 5 pm both days.

Also, when Dave was building the cabin there was a large rock on the property. He moved it back to the farm with hopes of someday sandblasting a heart design on it and returning the rock to the cabin site. That never happened until now. Bosman’s in Kenosha completed the rock and returned it to Bong. The Schultz family is doing a sunset dedication of “Heart Rock” on Sunday, Sept. 29 and all are invited.
