Units responding for motorcycle crash in Salem

At about 12:25 p.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue units and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a crash in the 7900 block of Highway F (256th Avenue) in Salem.

Per dispatch: Single motorcyclist hit a pole.

UPDATE about 12:27 p.m. — Deputy on the scene reports that driver is conscious and breathing. Pole hit was plastic, perhaps for buried cable or telephone, not an electric or streetlight pole.
