Fire and police departments from throughout Kenosha County participated in the annual Kenosha County Safety Fair Saturday.

The free event was held at the Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club stores in Somers.

Those attending were able to see all kinds of equipment and see several different demonstrations.

Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department personnel showed off some of their specialized equipment and units such as K9,bomb squad and the department’s new armored vehicle.

A burn room demonstration was conducted by Town of Salem Fire/Rescue personnel. The demo showed how quickly fire can spread in a residential environment.
