Bristol Historical Society volunteers sought

bristol-old-flag-webBristol is creating a Historical Society for Bristol governed by volunteers (no pay). The group would review buildings/locations/objects and recognize historical value. This is a unique opportunity to help preserve history and setup guidelines of what Bristol considers historical significance. The group will review applications and grant recognition, if guidelines are met. The Historical Society would meet quarterly throughout the year. If more meetings are needed, the could be added. If the old Bristol Town Hall is restored, that could the group’s museum housing objects, pictures, etc. The group also might be able to hold meetings there.
