Storms headed this way

The National Weather Service has issued a short-term forecast that says an area of thunderstorms may be headed our way.

The leading edge of these storms in a Burlington to Kenosha line is expected to be in the area by 1:45 p.m.

The storms could produce brief heavy rainfall rates of one quarter to three quarters of an inch per hour, winds to 35 mph, small hail and cloud to ground lightning.
