Workshop to discuss legal issues and dementia

ADRC_Kenosha-logo-webThe Alzheimer’s Association’s Bristol Caregiver Support Group along with Kenosha County Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) and Right At Home are hosting a free and informative workshop titled, “Legal Issues & Dementia” on Sept. 16. This workshop is for family/friend caregivers who are caring for a loved one with a memory loss. The purpose of this workshop is to provide information to help caregivers understand the differences between a Living Will, Power of Attorney for Health Care and Guardianships as well as the implications of the new Helen E. F. Ruling. Rebecca Dutter, Adult Protective Service Coordinator, at the ADRC will present this workshop at the Westosha Community Center, 19200 93rd Street (Hwy C) Bristol, on Monday, Sept. 16, from  7 – 8:30 p.m. Limited seating available, pre-registration required.
