At about 9:50 p.m.., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue units are responding to the 6400 block of 238th Avenue in Paddock Lake for an investigation.
Dispatch says a person on the east side of Paddock Lake reports seeing a large fire across the lake.
UPDATE 10:10 p.m. — Fire command says fire was a brush pile and is not a hazard. Units returning to quarters.
