  1. West says:

Three years ago I brought up to the Salem Town Hall that this intersection is not safe and has many issues, not to mention the people who drive through it with impatience and the increase of traffic. If they read this it needs to be addressed to the Wis.DOT AGAIN! There have been a number of people who have DIED at this intersection! How long is it going to take to have lights put in! Granted not all controlled intersections are safe but much better than non controlled intersections.

  2. Trevor says:

Are the people okay that were on the motorcycle?

  3. Chris says:

You have two different speed zones meeting at that intersection. 35 mph going north into a 45 and a 45 going south into a 35, which makes for judging oncoming traffic different in each direction. Maybe by having the 35 start further north ( Going South) might help.

  4. Margaret says:

We live on 119th street just east of that intersection. We have seen and heard many accidents on that corner. Put a round -a- bout i on that intersection. The DOT placed one on MB and Hy C. That should slow them down and control the intersection

  5. Grant says:

Does anyone have anything to update on the rider(s) of the bike? I was just behind the accident and (thankfully) didn’t see the impact but the accident scene was brutal. As much as I can’t stand round-abouts in certain areas that intersection really needs one, there have been way too many bad wrecks there.
