At about 11:40 a.m., Paris Fire and Rescue, Bristol Fire and Rescue, Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue and Somers Fire and Rescue are responding to a report of a fire at a business in the 1800 block of West Frontage Road in Paris.
Flames and smoke were reported by a passerby, dispatch says.
UPDATE 11:42 a.m. — Deputy on scene reports no smoke or signs of fire.
UPDATE 11:46 a.m. — Fire units arriving confirm nothing showing. They will investigate.
UPDATE 11:51 a.m. — Paris command reports to dispatch that fire is under control. It is at the concrete plant on West Frontage.
