Twin Lakes Police Lt. Jeffrey Kreft was remembered in a proclamation from Gov. Scott Walker.
The proclamation was read Monday at the Twin Lakes Village Board meeting by Trustee Jeremy Knoll. Here’s video of the reading:

Kreft, 36, was heading home after his shift in Twin Lakes on May 25 when his vehicle was struck by a truck that crossed the center line on Highway 120 in Lyons. Kreft was sworn in as the newest TLPD lieutenant on May 7. He had been a TLPD officer since 2007.
