At about 8:31 p.m., a sheriff’s deputy is out with about 20 sheep that are loose in about the 29400 block of Highway 50 in Salem.
Deputy asked dispatch to call owner for help with getting sheep back in place. Sheep are on the north side of the highway.
UPDATE 8:34 p.m. — Dispatch reports no answer from owner. Will keep trying.
UPDATE 8:41 p.m. — Deputy reports that he has all of the sheep back behind their fence and he has secured the gate.
