The National Weather Service forecast for today — and much of the week — includes showers and thunderstorms for our area.
Today there is an 80 percent chance of rain in some forms. A thunderstorm is likely between 10 and 11 and then possible through the day and tonight. The high temperature is forecast at 71. It’s foggy out my window right now and that is expected to continue until about 8 a.m.
Thunderstorms continue to be in the forecast through Saturday in the 50 percent chance or so range. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday high temperatures are expected to creep into the 80s.
