At 8:30 p.m., Town of Wheatland Fire Department and Silver Lake Rescue units and two sheriff’s deputies are responding to Highway W and Highway JI in Wheatland for a report of a crash.
One vehicle is involved. It is off the road and the airbag has deployed, but driver is out and walking around, dispatch reports.
UPDATE 8:35 p.m. — One male patient with a back injury, dispatch reports.
UPDATE 8:50 p.m. — Deputy calling for tow truck.
