Kenosha Law Enforcement Memorial Service 2012 coverage

Law enforcement agencies from throughout Kenosha County were represented Wednesday in the annual Kenosha Law Enforcement Memorial Service in Kenosha.

Weather was nearly perfect for the outdoor ceremony.  The memorial is located near the Kenosha Public Museum and Civil War Museum in Kenosha.

The service is held each May to honor those in law enforcement who have died while serving the citizens of Kenosha County.

This year’s special guest speaker was Amy Fabiano, whose husband, Frank’s name is on the memorial. Deputy Frank Fabiano Jr. was shot and killed during a traffic stop in May 2007. Here is video from freelance photographer and videographer Earlene Frederick of Amy Fabiano’s comments as well as other scenes from the ceremony:

The memorial carries the names of the following officers who died while serving as police officers.

Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department

  • Blanco Aquino
