The Fox River slipped below flood stage of 10 feet Tuesday as measured at the New Munster gauge.
As of the latest observation at 7 p.m. today, the river was at 9.96 feet. The flood warning has expired.
The river is expected to be below the 9-foot action stage by Saturday morning.
