Twin Lakes community and business leader Cliff Cantwell dies

Cliff Cantwell, well-known in the Twin Lakes community as the owner of the Twin Lakes Country Club and for his leadership in numerous community organizations, died Wednesday. He was 71.

Among the organizations he played an active role in through the years were the Twin Lakes Chamber and Business Association, the Aquanut Water Ski Team, the D.A.R.E. Program for Kenosha County, Twin Runners Snowmobile Club, Kenosha Area Business Alliance.He currently was a member of the Twin Lakes Park Commission.

Cantwell is survived by: his wife Judy; 5 sons-Chad, Craig (Kelly), Christopher, Cian and Kyle all of Twin Lakes, and 2 grandchildren-Kaileigh and Carter.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, at St. John’s Catholic Church 701 N. Lake Ave. Twin Lakes. The Cantwell Family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until the time of Mass at the Church.

    Cliff was an extremely generous man and will be greatly missed. He was such a huge supporter of the local school groups and the Community. Twin Lakes won’t be the same. Thoughts and condolences out to his family….
