The Paris Plan Commission will meet on Monday, March 18, at 7 p.m. at the Town of Paris Safety Building, 16607 Burlington Road to consider a proposed amendment to the Land Use Plan Map for the Town of Paris of the Comprehensive Plan for Kenosha County.
The amendment is being requested by Wisconsin Electric Power Company DBA We Energies for a property at about 1606 120th Avenue. The request would have part of the property changed from a “Farmland Protection†designation to “Governmental and Institutionalâ€. The balance of the proposed 8.78 parcel is currently designated as Business/Industrial Park and would also be changed to Governmental and Institutional. The purpose of the division is to allow the development of an electrical distribution substation.
