This morning we reported that overnight snow was causing some slick conditions on the roads. Here’s a statement from Sgt. Bill Beth, Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department spokesman about the number of crashes:
We had 5 cars in the ditch, 10 property damage crashes and 1 injury crash between 5AM and 8 AM. They were kind of all over, but on the freeway was probably the most notable problem spot. Once Public Works was able to get all of the roads salted and the sun came out things tapered off very quickly.
