At about 1:05 p.m., we measured 2 inches of accumulation of snow at westofthei.com headquarters in Paddock Lake.

The local forecast from the National Weather Service has increased the amount of accumulation expected to 4 to 6 today and another 1 to 2 tonight.

A winter storm warning remains in effect until midnight.

So far, it appears that the weather has not caused the problems on local roads that last week’s snowfall did. Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Sgt. Bill Beth said from 9 to 11 a.m. the department handled only 2 cars in the ditch calls and one property damage crash (no injuries).

  1. Please says:

Two reasons for less crashes..1- no school. 2- most of them ditched their cars last week. Maybe the impatient drivers learned their lesson.
