Salem School held its annual school-wide spelling bee on Feb 5. Classroom spelling bee champions from grades 3rd-8th grade competed, totaling 50 spellers. Each speller participated at their grade level and won their classroom bees to move on to the school-wide spelling bee. After a grueling two hours of competition, 5th grade Zoe Shanaver and 8th Grader Kenny Horner emerged as finalists that will move on to the regional competition in March at Whitewater High School.
