The Kenosha County 4-H Fishing Project will hold a fundraiser raffle and chili cook-off among area fire departments on March 2 at the Conservation Club of Kenosha County Bristol Shooting Ranges, 21001 85th St. Bristol.
Come support your favorite Fire Department and the activities of the fishing project.
Top Raffle Prizes include: Charter ï¬shing trip on Lake Michigan. FinnQuest; iPad mini 16 gig WiFi; 8-inch gas power ice auger; Two man ice shanty package; Nintendo 3DS with Mario game; Gas powered chain saw; Lord of the Rings Lego video game; American Girl Caroline Doll; Home Firesafe; Outdoor propane cooker and many more great prizes too numerous to list. Drawing to be held after Chili Cook Off.

With the funds raised, the fishing project has been able to to fund projects to teach kids the techniques of fishing and take them out to fish and award them for fish they caught. Some past activities of the fishing project have included:
- Seminars on learning how to fish if you are just a beginner.
- Summer fishing tournament of Lake Delavan (Boats and captains take kids and parents out on lake).
- Ice fishing Derby in the winter.
- Take a field trip to the Lake Mills Fish Hatchery.
- Take trip to the Madison Fishing Expo.
- Built their own fishing rods.
- Take trip to the Milwaukee Sport Show.
- Fish of the Month awards.
- Angler of the Year award.
- Fish Casting Contest at the Kenosha County Fair.
