Snow coming tonight

The National Weather Service is forecasting 2 to 4 inches of snow for our area, starting tonight mostly after 9 p.m. and continuing through Friday morning. A winter weather advisory has been issued at this point, which says winds of 15 to 20 miles per hour with gusts as high as 30 could cause blowing and drifting of snow, complicating matters during the Friday morning commute. After the snow stops at about noon Friday, there is a chance of drizzle, snow and freezing drizzle developing for the balance of the day.

Today’s high will be 28 and Friday’s high will be 33.
