Proposals to the Kenosha Community Foundation for 2013 grants are due 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013.
The Foundation plans to distribute grants from its unrestricted funds as well as four other endowments it manages: Women’s Fund, Arts Fund, the LaFave Family Fund (established by the estate of Susann LaFave) and the OMC Legacy Fund. Grant proposal criteria and application forms are available on the Foundation’s website – kenoshafoundation.org.
In previous years, the Foundation awarded grants between $500 and $18,000 to area not-for-profit organizations. In 2012, the Foundation awarded 28 grants, totaling just shy of $80,000 ($79,500), from these funds.
