The National Weather Service’s winter storm warning for today has been modified slightly, as of 4 a.m. The warning will now start at 10 a.m., a little later than before, but still extend until midnight.
The latest local forecast calls for accumulation of snow/sleet/ice/whatever of 2 to 5 inches.
UPDATE 10:05 a.m. — Wet snow starting to fall in Paddock Lake, right on schedule.
UPDATE 11:50 p.m. — Snow picked up a lot from about 11:15 to 11:45 a.m. Went from a rainy day to a aggressive snow fall in the time it took me to drive from Paddock Lake to Trevor and back.
