Sheriff David Beth and The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department announce the 2013 Sheriff’s Citizens’ Academy. Classes are held once a week and will begin Monday, March 4 and end April 23. The Citizens’ Academy is an eight-week overview of what goes on inside the Sheriff’s Department. Highlights of the academy include demonstrations by the bomb squad, k-9 unit, and a drunk driving arrest. Only 20 applicants will be accepted.
