Jeffrey Comp sworn in as Twin Lakes Police officer

Denise Comp pins his badge on her son Jeffrey J. Comp, the latest addition to the Twin Lakes Police Department.

Jeffrey J. Comp was sworn in as Twin Lakes Police officer today at before the Village Board meeting.

Comp was sworn in by village administrator Jennifer Pollitt. His mother, Denise, pinned on his badge.

Comp graduated from Franklin High School and then attended and graduated from Gateway Technical College with an associate degree in criminal justice. Comp attended Gateway Technical College Law Enforcement Academy for his state certification, said Chief Dale Racer.

Before joining the Twin Lakes department, Comp worked as a police aide with the Oak Creek Police Department and a part-time police officer with the Sturtevant Police Department, Racer said.

Comp will be in field training until May. He then will be assigned as a patrol officer.
