Units responding for crash on Highway C in Bristol

At 10:44 a.m., Bristol Fire and Rescue and sheriff’s deputies are responding for a report of a crash in the 13600 block of Highway C in Bristol.

Crash involves a car and a pick-up truck. One person reporting being shook up, dispatch reports.

UPDATE 2:42 p.m. — Sgt. Bill Beth, Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department spokesman, said a 77-year-old woman from Twin Lakes was NB on CTH U.  She stopped her 2007 Lincoln Grand Marque at the stop sign and proceeded through the intersection, pulling in front of an EB 1978 Chevy Pickup truck operated by a 25 years old man from Lyons, WI.  The pick-up struck  struck the woman’s car causing heavy front end damage to the car  and minor rear damage to the truck. Both subjects were seen by Rescue, but no one was transported to the Hospital.  The woman was issued a citation for failure to yield right-of-way from a stop sign.   The pickup driver was issued a citation for no insurance.
