Central High School seeking applicants to fill vacant School Board seat

Central High School is looking for applicants to fill a Paris seat on the School board.

The vacancy was created by the Jan. 1 death of board member Henry Billingsley.

Candidates must live in the Paris School District. Those interested in filling the seat are asked to submit a letter of interest to:

  • Mrs. Kim Hole — Administrative Assistant, Central High School Board of Education, 24617 75th St., PO Box 38, Salem WI 53168.

The deadline for submission of a letter of interest is Monday, Feb. 11. The board will interview candidates and make a selection following those interviews.

The person elected will serve through April 2014, the remainder of Billingsley’s term.

Those wanting more information about the duties of a school board member can contact district administrator R. Scott Pierce at 843-2321.

“Central High School was saddened by the recent sudden death of a dedicated school board member, Mr. Henry Billingsley,” a press release from the school said.
