The Bristol School Renegade 8th grade girls played the Wildcats of Randall School and finished the season with the Tournament championship 30-18 and with a 19-0 season. After a slow start against the tough defense of Randall, the Renegades opened up a lead after one quarter. Both teams played tight but the Renegades opened up a 15-9 lead at half. The third quarter saw the Wildcats determined to make Bristol earn every basket picked up the defense full court and helped them trim the lead in the third quarter. In the fourth stanza,  the Wildcats trimmed the lead to 4 points on more than one occasion on their superb free throw shooting. Bristol used a nice passing attack to break Randall’s press that resulted in extending their lead to the final.
