Brother’s Zach and Jacob Martell have finished Eagle Scout projects at Pringle Nature Center.
Zach Martell built a total of eight bat houses in May of 2011 in Bristol Woods County Park located in the prairie and by the first parking lot to encourage bats to roost in the park and avoid roosting in the shelter bathrooms.
This past October, his younger brother, Jacob, constructed and installed amphitheater benches around the campfire ring. This will provide seating for school group programs and naturalist led campfire talks.
