At about 4:35 p.m., Salem Fire/Rescue units and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a crash in the 9200 block of Highway 83 in Salem.
UPDATE 4:36 p.m. — Deputy on scene says one vehicle is leaking fuel.
UPDATE 4:37 p.m. — Fire unit on scene reports that one vehicle appears to have heavy rear-end damage.
UPDATE 4:41 p.m. — Tow trucks being called for two vehicles.
UPDATE 4:50 p.m. — Report from the road says northbound traffic is being diverted onto 98th Street.
UPDATE 5:20 p.m. — All fire department units clearing the scene and returning to quarters.
