The Kenosha County Specialized Response Team’s Hazardous Materials Division is inviting the public to an open house to showcase the equipment used to provide Haz Mat Services. The event will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8 at Somers Fire Station #1, 7511 12th St., Somers.
Kenosha County Executive Jim Kreuser and County Sheriff David Beth will join the KCSRT Haz Mat Team Coordinator Mark Niederer and the Kenosha County Chiefs and Captains Group for the open house.
“This is an opportunity for people to see the equipment used to respond to hazardous materials events in the city and county of Kenosha,†said Niederer, and officer with Bristol Fire and Rescue. “We would like to demonstrate the preparedness of the KCSRT Haz Mat Team.†For more information about the open house, please contact Niederer at the Bristol Fire Department, 262-857-2711.
