Wilmot Union High School is looking for local veterans to attend the Veteran’s Day Assembly at Wilmot Union High School on Friday, Nov. 9.
The day begins with a breakfast for veterans at 7:45 a.m. followed by an assembly at 9 a.m. that includes presentations by the Wilmot Band, Choir and a slide presentation. Wilmot has also received special permission from the makers of “Honor Flight,” to show a special viewing of the documentary about WWII Vets. The movie set the record for most people attending an outdoor movie when it was shown at Miller Park this fall. “Honor Flight” will be screened after the assembly at approximately 10:30 a.m.
