Wisconsin Lightning 14U AG took 2nd place overall in the Witches and Fastpitches 16U tournament held in Salem on Oct.19-20. The 8th and 9th grade Lightning girls competed with travel clubs from around the area notching victories along the way against quality teams consisting of mainly high school sophomores and juniors. The girls played outstanding all weekend, but eventually fell to last years ASA Northern National Champs, Jr Phoenix from Green Bay. The team plans on competing at several 16U events this upcoming season including college exposure tournaments throughout the Midwest.
