Grant funds available from Kenosha County Youth As Resources

Looking for money for your next community service or service learning project? Kenosha County Youth As Resources (YAR), a program dedicated to youth empowerment, is seeking youth-led groups to apply for grant funds of up to $500 for their next service project.

A simple two-page application form and a short presentation to YAR board members are all that are required to qualify for grant funds. Applications and details about YAR and YAR grants are available at the UW-Extension office in the Kenosha County Center 19600 75th Street in Bristol or at the Youth As Resources website: www.kenoshacountyyar.org. In 2012, Kenosha County Youth As Resources partnered with members of Leadership Kenosha to create a comprehensive list of service opportunities for youth. The list, available on the Youth As Resources website shown above, may be used by any youth or youth group wishing to do community service regardless of whether or not they apply for YAR grant funds. Kenosha County Youth As Resources (YAR) is a program of Kenosha County University of Wisconsin-Extension in partnership with the United Way of Kenosha County.
