Silver Lake’s first annual Harvestfest will take place Saturday, Oct. 27.
Activities are to include:
- Scarecrow Yard Decoration Contest, judged Saturday, Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. There will be prizes for best entries. Registration is required via email: fallfest@wi.rr.com.
- Twilight Parade: Light up floats and vehicles are invited to participate. Prizes for best entries. Registration is required via email: fallfest@wi.rr.com.A parade application is available here. The parade starts at 6 p.m. at Riverview School. The parade will leave the Riverview parking lot and go north up School Street to Dells. East on Dells to Manor. South on Manor to Cogswell. South on Cogswell to First Street. North on First to Lake, west on Lake to Second, and north back to the school.
Immediately following the parade at Community Baptist Church 203 North Fourth Street will be a bonfire, food, beverages, games and music and a Pumpkin Carving Contest.
