Bristol Boy Scout moves garden beds for The Sharing Center

Boy Scout and Eagle Scout candidate Adrian Arceleo (blue zip-front sweatshirt) supervises work on the relocation of garden beds at The Sharing Center in Trevor Saturday morning.

A group of Boy Scouts and other helpers spent Saturday moving and setting up garden beds for The Sharing Center.

The group was led by Scout Adrian Arceleo, who is performing the task as the community service portion of his Eagle Scout requirements.

The beds had been The Sharing Center’s former headquarters in Paddock Lake. The center moved to the former Trevor Fire Station earlier this year.

The Scouts disassembled the beds and moved them the old site to the new site. Saturday, they were working to put the beds in place at the new location, Arceleo said. A shed at the old site was also being moved to Trevor.

Arceleo got the idea for the project by talking to The Sharing Center after a fellow Troop 386 member also did a community service project for the center, which serves needy people in Western Kenosha County with food and self-help services.
