Paddock Lake to host E-Waste drop-off Oct. 20

Paddock Lake in cooperation with John’s Disposal will be holding an E-Waste drop off event on Saturday, Oct. 20 at Village Hall, from 8  a.m. to 12 noon. Personnel will be available to assist residents with their items.

There is no charge for this service. Examples of items that can be dropped off are unwanted televisions, computers, monitors and printer/fax machines.

Trustee Terry Burns, Recycling Committee chairperson said:

We had an outstanding turnout during our last E-Waste event held during our Green Expo in May. This is yet another opportunity to dispose of unwanted electronic devices for those that were unable to attend our last event. We can all appreciate the benefit of keeping these electronic items out of our landfills as a conscious green effort. This event represents a great example of the village working with our current local recycling vendor to provide added service benefits to our residents at a cost we can all appreciate – zero!”
