Central High School varsity girls and boys teams cross country ran to a first place finishes at the Falcon invite held Oct. 4, at Fox River County Park.
The girls won their 8 team meet with 16 points. Other teams participating in the meet were: West Allis Hale, Whitnall, Big Foot, South Milwaukee, Home School Eagles, East Troy and Elkhorn.
The top eight CHS runners were:
- Maria Sabourin 1st 16:01.0.
- Melissa Capra 2nd 16:04.7.
- Joanne Reiners 3rd 16:05.4.
- MacKenzie Bevry 4th 16:13.6.
- Rebecca Lamp 6th 16:19.6.
- Maddie Murphy 7th 16:19.8.
- Julia Alberth 8th 16:20.7.
- Renee Culbertson 9th 16:24.3.
The boys won their meet with 30 points with 9 teams participating. Other teams at the invite were: West Allis Hale, Whitnall, Big Foot, South Milwaukee, Home School Eagles, East Troy, Elkhorn and Clinton.
