A fire that heavily burned a home on 219th Avenue Monday evening in the Lake Shangri-la neighborhood did not show signs of being of suspicious origin, a Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department investigative report released today said.
Salem Fire/Rescue Chief David Slover told deputies that signs of a slow fire build up — such as heavy soot on the windows in the garage where the fire was centered — suggest the fire was not of suspicious origin, the report says.
