Pringle Nature Center, 9800 160th Ave., Bristol will be hosting a pair of events Saturday, Sept. 22:
- The center will be having an Invasive Species Workday from 9 a.m. to noon. Participants will help combat European Buckthorn, Multi-Flora Rose, and many more invasive plants. Please bring your own work gloves; tools will be provided.
- The center will also be an Autumn Equinox Night Hike from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Participants will hear a talk about the Equinox and how various cultures celebrate the Equinox as they experience the night time to see how animals prepare for wintertime. Please leave your flashlights at home as they will spoil the experience. Pre-registration for the hike is required. General Public: $5.00.
