Tea program to be held at Community Library branches

Tea Lore with Lorrie is a program that will be held at the Community Library branches in Salem and Twin Lakes.

Participants will be able to sample assorted teas and tea treats as they learn about the history, brewing techniques and health benefits of this ancient crink. Lorrie Ferguson, owner of Infini-Tea, in Antioch will talk about the significance of tea through the ages.

On Tuesday, Sept. 25, the program will be held at the Twin Lakes branch at 110 S. Lake Avenue, Twin Lakes, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Adults only; registration required. Registration opens Sept. 11. Call 877-4281.

On Tuesday, Oct. 23, the program will be held at the Salem branch, 24615 89th Street, Salem from6:30 to 7:30 pm. Adults only; registration required. Registration opens Oct. 9. Call 843-3348.
