The Twin Lakes Police and Fire Departments played their annual Guns and Hoses softball game Saturday at Legion Park in Twin Lakes.

The fire department prevailed 12 to 8 to take the lead in the series, which had been tied 2-2.

The Police Department played the game in honor of Lt. John “Biscuit” Gregory, a 27-year member of the TLPD, who died in June. Gregory’s widow, Ilene, threw out the ceremonial first pitch for the game.
