Funeral was today for Bristol woman who died from crash last week

Funeral services were held today for Robin R. Bailey, 31, of Bristol who died in a crash on Highway Q in Bristol Aug. 29.

Bailey was traveling westbound on Highway Q  in about the 18300 block in Bristol after 10 p.m. when her car left the road, struck a street sign and then a tree, a Sheriff’s Department accident report said. An investigatory report from the Sheriff’s Department said evidence at the scene suggested the car failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway.

After being freed from the vehicle, Bailey was transported to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee by Flight for Life medical transport helicopter. She was pronounced dead there   at 11:07 a.m., Friday, Aug. 31, said Sgt. Bill Beth, sheriff’s department spokesman.
