The Salem Town Board has approved improving several roads in the town yet this construction season.

Effected roads are: 121st Street, 217th Avenue, 121st Place, 219th Avenue, 220th Court, 220th Avenue and 221st Avenue.

The low bid of $199,955 from B.R. Amon & Sons, Inc. of Elkhorn was accepted at a Town Board meeting last week.

Included as part of the bid proposal was a section of 121st Street/216th Avenue that is actually in Bristol. The $22,323 bid by B.R. Amon will be considered by the Bristol Village Board next week. That stretch of the road will only be included in the project if Bristol approves. Salem will not pay for that work either way.
