A community-wide garage sale will take place in Silver Lake Aug. 24 through 26.
Over two dozen homes will host garage and yard sales Friday through Sunday. Dates and hours vary by sale. Watch for signs throughout the village, or pick up a free directory and map of sale locations starting Aug. 24. The directory will be available at the Silver Lake BP Station (551 N. Cogswell Dr.) and Scully’s Silver Lake Grill (107 S. Cogswell Drive).
To get to Silver Lake, take Highway 50 to Hwy. B and turn south.
