The Twin Lakes ski team, the Aquanuts, competed at the national show ski tournament in Janesville, Wisconsin, on Aug. 12 and took 5th place.

The Aquanuts featured two ballet lines which took first and second place. The first place ballet line consisted of 30 girls, a tournament first. Not only was it the highest scoring act of the tournament, but it is the second highest scoring act in the history of show skiing. The ballet line included a toe turn line followed by a quick pick into the ballet routine. The ladies have won the national ballet line title for three years running.

The Aquanuts perform on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 6 pm from Memorial Day to Labor Day at Lance Park in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin. The free admission shows also include barefooting, swivel skiers, jumpers, trick skiers and grand human pyramids.
