Twin Lakes hires new village administrator

Jennifer Pollitt

The Twin Lakes Village Board hired a new village administrator today in a special meeting of the board.

Jennifer Pollitt will begin her new duties in mid September, said village Clerk/Treasurer Kathleen Richardson.

Pollitt is currently the chief of staff to the mayor of Green Bay. Earlier in her career, she was a Special Projects Intern for Lake Geneva’s city government.

Pollitt replaces David Cox, who resigned in May to accept a job as village administrator in Hartland. He had been employed by Twin Lakes for 12 years.

In her LinkedIn profile Pollitt says: “My career goals include working as a City Manager in a mid-sized city and establishing a long career in public service. Government has inspired me in my life, and I hope to impact others through the same means.”

Her profile on the city of Green Bay website describes her functions there as: “Jennifer works with staff to develop policy and procedures. She is responsible for the annual budget preparation and chairs the Budget Task Force. Jennifer lobbies state & federal officials on behalf of the City and is the media point of contact for the Mayor’s Office. Jennifer also represents the Mayor at various functions and meetings and is the Mayor’s representative in labor relations.”

Pollitt has a master’s degree in public administration.
