Lilly Lake Beach is open again after follow-up testing showed levels of potentially harmful bacteria in the water at acceptable levels, reports Wheatland town Clerk Sheila Siegler.
Results from July 30 showed 816 cfu/100mls. The beach was closed after that result.
The Aug. 1 results showed just 86 cfu/100mls, allowing the re-opening.
