At 6:09 p.m., Town of Wheatland Fire Department and Twin Lakes Rescue units are responding to a report of a grass fire at 368th Avenue (Highway O) and Highway 50 in Wheatland.
Dispatch says caller saw black smoke not near any structures.
UPDATE 6:25 p.m. — Scene actually a little est of Highway O. Deputy reports that it is a backyard brush fire. Fire units returning to quarters.
